Jordan, an alumnus of two prestigious accelerators—Canada's L-Spark and Silicon Valley's Y Combinator—brings a wealth of accelerator experience to the table. As the founder of Tough Commerce, he pioneered a next-generation commerce engine transforming traditional industries into the digital era. TC serves as the central software for these companies, encompassing a wide array of functionalities such as e-commerce, logistics, dispatching, scheduling, real-time delivery, payments, customer portal, driver application, maintenance, inventory, e-invoicing, AR automation, and more.

Jordan is a product-focused founder who firmly believes in building great companies on the foundation of exceptional products. With Tough Commerce, he successfully secured over $9 million in funding from both angel investors and institutional backers from Canada, Us, Europe and from Silicon Valley.

Jordan is also an angel investor in multiple Y Combinator backed startups and is the Founder of StrongForce AI through our venture studio.

Arjun Chaudhri

Arjun Chaudhri, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Arjun began their career in 2006 as a Senior Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP, where they worked until 2011. Arjun then joined Banro Corp as a Senior Manager of Finance from 2011 to 2014.

Following this, Arjun took on roles at Career Skills Incubator, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors from 2013 to 2019. Arjun is currently working at Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), starting as the Director of Finance from 2014 to 2017, then moving to the role of Vice President of Finance from 2017 to 2020, and finally becoming the Chief Financial Officer in January 2020.

How much equity do you take for the program?

We take a 3% equity stake in your company in exchange for participating in our program. Additionally, we offer an optional Continuity Program for alumni who enjoyed working with us and wish to continue their journey towards achieving their next business milestones together.

Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of downtown Toronto, where most of our in-person activities and sessions take place. For companies outside of Toronto, we offer the option to participate in virtual sessions.

Is it a group or an individual program?

Our program is tailored specifically for founders and companies seeking personalized guidance. While occasional group sessions may occur, the majority of our sessions are one-on-one with your dedicated mentor. This individualized approach ensures that you receive focused attention and tailored support to address your unique challenges and goals effectively.

When does it start?

The accelerator program accepts applications on a rolling basis, allowing applicants to apply at any time as there is no specific start date. If we like you idea and decide you are selected, the program can start immediately or on your own timeline.
